Back in the lab and Laughing at Doom.
Commissioned by Biogen pharmaceuticals, I created
the intro sequence for 'The Science Guy" mini series
in collaboration with Bill Nye. Along side this, I also created
a series of animations to celebrate the collaboration between Bill Nye,
Fiona Cauley and Biogen, all shown at a live presentation at Cannes Festival.

Below are the set of animations, illustrations and a bit of the behind the scenes process I created to make the collaboration a success.

Bill Nye the science guy came back to the lab in a 4-part series about the genetic disease Friedreich ataxia (FA). The mini series explored the the science behind FA, the importance of genetic testing and Bill talks about his family connection to ataxia all in a fun, accessible retro style.

I was asked to create the intro section using elements of the series in combination with custom illustration and animation.

Cannes Festival.
Biogen and 21 Grams collaborated with non other than Bill Nye the science guy and comedian Fiona Cauley on the Cannes presenatation: Laughing at Doom.
​
Laughing at Doom was a talk discussing how to use humour to talk about illness and other hellscapes in creative. Inspired by the 'this is fine' meme, I produced a series of custom animated loops of the speakers shown to the world at Cannes.
